A magnificiant trip to Lyon, France

Introduction :

Salut tout le monde " Hi everyone ", i am glad to see that you are giving some of your precious time by passing by my blog which is written by love and passion for you my dear, not just to enjoy it but also to help you have some Ideas and informations about places that one day may be your destination.

For today i will be talking about my trip to Lyon, France and i hope you enjoy it 🥰.

♥️ Where is Lyon located ?

My beloved city is located in the heart of southwest of France, lyon tell tales of a bygone era, where history is intertwined with the vibrant colors of local culture. As I embarked on a personal journey through this enchanting town i was exposed to the sanctity, the beauty and the mystery surrounding  its historical roots and the surprising diversity of Its gastronomic offerings. ( I advise you to visit Léon on late spring or on mid-autumm, this period is the best time to uncover the real beauty of this town😉 ).

♥️ How did I spend my day ?

I started my day by stepping back in time at the "Église Saint-Lyon". This Roman gem, dating back to the 12th century, stands as a silent witness to centuries of Léon's history. The complexity of its architecture and the variety of its stained glass windows create an atmosphere that indicate the historical richness. This is what prompted me to think seriously about the extent of progress our ancestors have reached in the art of architecture.

For my breakfast, i embraced the local tradition with a visit to a nearby boulangerie where i ordered some orange juice 🍊 and i savored a freshly baked "pain au chocolat" which was really delicious, the magnificiant taste of the bread with chocolate made me understand why the French pastries  have stood the test of time.

♥️ My afternoon's adventure :

I wandered through the charming streets of Lyon's Old town, where medieval architecture meets modern vitality. A friend of mine insisted that we visit the "Musée de Léon" to explore artifacts that reflect the town's historical journey and offer a variable glimpse into its past.

For a midday respite, i invited myself to a quaint café in "Place de la République" where i enjoyed a leisurely lunch featuring regional specialties, such as Landes-style duck confit and a seafood dish showcasing the variability of the local catch and as always when i am in France i can't miss its magical wine which can make me feel younger 😁😁.

♥️ My lovely evening :

As the sun begins to set, i headed to the tranquil shores of Étang de Léon. Surrounded by greenery, this vast lake provides a tranquil setting for an evening strolls and contemplation of the historical echoes that reverberate across the water. For me personally, it helps me clear my mind and makes me forget the worries of life, even if it is only for a while.

For dinner, i enjoyed the sophistication and deliciousness of the Basque cuisine at a local restaurant named "Chez Guillaume". Where i tried the "Axoa" for the first time which is a flavorful veal stew and to be honest it was better than how i expected.

My dear friends as my story came to an end, i will tell you as always that listening to stories and experiences of other people is not enough, you should go out and travel to feel the beauty and the the charm of the world, we only have one life so let us make it worth ✈️✈️

With my sincere thanks for your support, your friend Henry ♥️.

My adventure in Versailles

Introduction:

Bonjour "good morning" everyone, iam happy and full of energy and i hope you feel the same as me or better.
Today i will share with you a personal experience that was stuck in my mind, to be honest it is more like a happy and engaging story about fairyland.
I know you can't wait to hear about it so without further ado let us start 😁😁.

♥️ How did I start my day?

As dawn breaks over Versailles and the royal essence of the Palace started to emerge. I started my day with a leisurely stroll through the immaculate Gardens of Versailles, where ornate fountains and manicured lawns transport you to a bygone era. The mystery surrounding the intricate hedges and the variability of flower arrangements create a tranquil atmosphere.

I felt that i need to replenish my energy so i went for breakfast, i indulged in the magic of a local pastries . I enjoyed crusty croissants, a variety of fruit-filled pastries and i sipped a café au lait to start my day like a true Parisian ( i was trying my best to live the moment and that is what you should do too 😁 ).

♥️ My afternoon adventure:

I set off on an adventure into the world of the luxurious Palace of Versailles. How i marveled at the beauty of the gilded halls, mirrored rooms, and the Hall of Mirrors, each of which revealed the grandeur of french Kings. The audio guide provides diverse narration, sharing historical nuances and personal anecdotes that enhanced my experience.

For a midday respite, I escaped to the Grand Canal in the Gardens. I rented a rowing boat for a change of pace and to enjoy the views and the tranquil lake.

For lunch i invited myself to a Restaurant named La Petite Venise, a charming spot near the Grand Canal where i savored a variably delightful meal featuring classic French dishes with a modern twist, bellieve you will really enjoy your especialy with a cup of red wine.

♥️ How did I pass my evening?

As the day progressed, i explored the Trianon Palaces and the Queen's village . The pastoral elegance of Marie Antoinette's resort provides a contrast to the grandeur of the main palace. I wandered through the English Gardens and the Hamlet's country cottages and i enjoyed the variable landscapes within the vast area.

Its dinner time, i indulged in a truly French culinary experience at La Petite Venise. The evening menu showcases the perplexity of French cuisine, from escargot to coq au vin. I paired my meal with a local wine for a variable taste of the region ( you can say that i got addicted to the french wine 😅 ).

♥️ Conclusion

My friends, as my story came to an end i wanted to tell you that we travel not for the sake of travel but to explore culture and enjoy talking to local people and making new friends, for me doing some adventure and having some memories to share is worth all the World's treasure

My lovely trip to Marseille

Introduction:

Hi my dear friends i think as we all get old we always feel some guilt beceause there is some dreams we didn't acheive but in my case i decided to live my life as there is no tomorrow, i will live a life i will remember and smile while telling my experience to my grand-children. And for me, life is traveling.
So without further ado i will start telling you about my trip to Marseille ( France baby 🥰🥰 ).

♥️ How did I start my day  ?

As the sweet breeze of the city awakened me . I ditched the alarm and headed to the heart of Marseille, the "Vieux Port". As the first rays of sun kissed the water, i watched the fishing boats bob gently, i inhaled the salty air ( bellieve me i felt like i was reborn ) and from far away i saw the timeless beauty of Notre-Dame de la Garde, perched majestically on the hilltop.

My stomach started rumbling so i went to a local bakery named Le Four des Navettes near the port which is a true gem for me. I grabbed a buttery croissant and a steaming café au laitand I savored my breakfast while people -watching and planning my day's adventures.

♥️ My afternoon's adventure:

I started my journey where Marseille began – the ancient district of Le Panier. I wandered through labyrinthine streets lined with colorful houses, i soaked in the aroma of fresh fish wafting from tiny restaurants, i felt hungry so i rewarded myself with a Leisurely lunch at La Graineterie, where plates burst with the bounty of the sea – plump mussels, garlicky clams, and grilled sardines, all begging to be paired with crusty bread and a chilled glass of local rosé.

After enjoying my meal i wanted to escape thé hustle and bustle of the city ( to be honest it was a local's advice and i liked the idea ) so i took a ferry to the Friul Archipelago. This group of islands, located off the coast of Marseille Can make you feel like you are in paradise. I explored the hidden coves and turquoise waters at Ratonneau and Pomègues, i snorkeled among schools of colorful fish, and i enjoyed lounging on sun-warmed rocks ( a small tip for you :Fill a picnic basket with local pastries and cheeses, bellieve me you will need it)

As the afternoon sun dips lower, i returned to the mainland and i delved into the vibrant bohemian haven of Le Cours Julien. This district which explodes with street art, the independent boutiques, and eclectic cafes. I browsed through vintage treasures, later i ordered a coffee which i sipped it on a sun-drenched terrace, and i soaked in the creative energy that pulses through the narrow streets ( Tip: Don't miss the Wall of Wonders, a kaleidoscope of street art, and immerse yourself in the city's artistic spirit).

♥️ When night come:

As my adventure come to an end and the day faded into dusk, i descended to the vibrant Vieux-Port and La Joliette where i dived into the bustling waterfront energy, with fishermen mending their nets, boats swaying gently, and the air buzzing with conversation and laughter. I ordered a seafood feast at a traditional Provençal restaurant ( Tip : a sip of artisanal cocktails on a trendy rooftop bar can add a special flavor ), and i lost myself in the infectious rhythm of live music spilling from every corner. I let the magic of Marseille's nightlife carry me away, i dance under the starlit sky, and i knew that these memories will linger long after my afternoon adventure ends.

♥️ Finally there is something my dear friends that i wanted to tell it to you, i wanted you to know i tried my best to let you feel what i felt in Marseille but i know that it is not enough, that warm feeling of love and belonging and its lovely people it can't be described by any word.

All i can do is to invite you to travel and try it on your own, don't delay any longer do it tomorrow, we live one life so let us make it worth.

With my full gratitude to your visit
