Unveiling the charm of Paris

Unveiling the charm of Paris

Bonsoir "Hi" everyone taday i decided to share with you my own experience about my trip to Paris, bellieve me when i say that the mere mention of its name can draw the image of the Eiffel tower and the gardens in my mind.

♥️ A glimpse of history about my beloved city:

Iam in love with the history of how great cities was built so don't blame me if i take my Time telling you how paris was born .

Our story begins with  a celtic tribe called the Parisii who built a small settlement on the Île de la Cité, an island in the Seine River. Which later came to the attention of Julius Caesar, who conquered it in 52 BC. Under the  Roman rule, the city sprouted amphitheaters, baths, and temples, paving the way for its future grandeur.

Now let us cross time and space until we reach the Middle Ages, in this time Paris transformed into a thriving center of learning and religion. The University of Paris draws scholars from across Europe, while the magnificent Notre Dame cathedral rises as a symbol of faith and architectural prowess. Kings and queens build opulent palaces, like the Louvre, solidifying Paris' position as a royal stronghold.

I know you are bored from history so let us talk about today's paris, my beloved city remains a dynamic metropolis, constantly evolving yet deeply rooted in its rich past. From the cobbled streets of Montmartre to the sleek glass towers of La Défense, it's a city of contrasts and contradictions, where history whispers from every corner and the future unfolds with every croissant savored on a sunny terrace.

♥️ How i started my day ?

Like anyone else i was exited to try the famous croissants for breakfast and to be honest it was buttery and delicious 😍.
After having breakfast i wanted to challenge myself that's why i tried to climb the stairs of the Eiffel tower to reach the summit and enjoy the stunning view of the city from above while drinking a cup of Coffee, but maybe i was overestimating my physical ability beceause i felt exhausted just After taking 100 steps to the second floor.
That is why i decided to go back to the hôtel and have some rest ( i hope that no body have seen me while i was crawling to go back😁😁😅 )

♥️ My journey in the afternoon:

I thaught about going to the Louvre museum but deep in my soul i felt that this is not why i am here for, iam here to talk to locals, to make frienships and feel that i am alive again that is why i decided to go to the marais district, this famous neighborhood is where old culture and New arts get mixed and give birth to a wonderful symphony, the colorful facades Whisper the stories of an old era full of pride.
In a corner, i stumbled upon a boutique that sells Chanel scarves and left with a silk treasure for a fraction of the price.

♥️ Three hours before taking the plane back home:

I met with a chatty boulangerie owner ( Tip: make friends with locals beceause they own the Key to the best hidden places ) who helped me learn some local words like "merci" "bonjour" "  un verre de vin, s'il vous plait ", he Walked me through secret garden in marais Where giggling children chasing butterflies, and we reveled in this hidden oasis.

As i boarded the plane home, my suitcases where full with souvenirs and my heart was brimming with memories, I realized that the greatest souvenir wasn't the walls of an hôtel or the food. It was the feeling after sharing al augh with locals, the unexpected discoveries, and the magic of connecting with a city and its people
